  • Credit Cards
    • Major international credit cards such as Visa and Master are commonly acceptable at most hotels, department stores, restaurants, and shops.
    • Restaurants and shops generally display signs indicating what cards they accept.
  • Tipping & VAT
    • Tipping is not a traditional Korean Custom.
    • A 10% service charge is added to your bill at all tourist hotels and tips are not expected.
    • It is not necessary to tip a taxi driver unless he assists you with luggage or provides extra service.

    • CDMA cellular system is widely used in Korea. SK Telecom, KT and LG U+ provide SIM Card roaming services to allow you
      to use GSM Subscription in Korea. At the Incheon Airport, you can rent a special CDMA Cellular phone which accepts your SIM Card.

    • Voltage: 220V
    • The outlet has 2 round holes and also used in France, Germany, Austria, Greece, Türkiye and many other countries.
    • In case you don’t have multi-adapter, you can buy one at the airport/the duty free shops/convenience stores or borrow from the hotel’s front desk.
