- Only newly submitted abstracts that have not been presented elsewhere will be eligible.
- The awardees will be determined through on-site evaluation conducted during the General Session I, II.

- Applicants who have completed pre-registration and submitted their abstracts on the website.
- Recipients of the Academic Award are required to submit one manuscript either a review article or an original article to the Journal of Breast Cancer (JBC) before the next GBCC (April 22, 2027).
- This submission is an essential step in recognizing and disseminating the awarded work through publication in the official Journal of Breast Cancer.
- The prize will be granted in two installments: 50% in advance, and the remaining 50% upon publication of a review/original article in JBC.

- The Journal of Breast Cancer (JBC) is the official, peer-reviewed journal of the Korean Breast Cancer Society, publishing high-quality clinical and translational research across all areas of breast oncology. JBC welcomes submissions that advance understanding of breast cancer biology, treatment, and patient outcomes, and encourages investigators to submit their presented abstracts as full manuscripts for consideration.
