01. What is GBCC Robotic Surgery Workshop?
- The GBCC Robotic Surgery Workshop is only for Non-Korean Participants program and will be conducted as a pre-conference program of GBCC 2025.
This program designed for robotic surgeons who have completed the basic program and wish to enhance basics skills or focus on a specific procedure.
It is a personalized course with an emphasis on hands-on practice on cadaver models.
02. Overview
- ■ Date & Time: 08:00-18:00, April 16 (Wed.), 2025 (It is subject to change due to any situation.)
- ■ Venue: Robot Training Center of Severance Hospital (Location)
* It takes approximately 1 hour to GBCC venue (Grand Walkerhill Hotel) by car.
* Shuttle buses are not provided between the Workshop venue and the GBCC venue.
- ■ Program
- Up to four-hours procedures will be conducted in both the morning and afternoon.

- Each team working on one cadaver will consist of one tutor, one operator, and up to three observers.
- Up to eight teams will be conducted.
- The final team assignments will be determined by the Secretariat.

03. Registration Process

• The deadline for registration for the GBCC Robotic Surgery Workshop is January 3. The Secretariat will send a notice to final workshop participants
after internal review.
• Compliance with the certification procedure is required; therefore, submission of an application does not guarantee completion of the registration.
• Applicants for the role of operator are required to submit:
- A brief description of their professional background
- Whether your hospital has an endoscopic robot
- Their experience in a robot hands-on course.
• Successful applicants will receive individual notification via email.

04. Registration Fee

• The payment of workshop registration fee should be completed within five working days after receiving the acceptance notice;
otherwise, the position will be offered to the next suitable applicant.
• The registration fee covers all program instruction, materials and lunch for Robotic Surgery Workshop on April 16 (Wed.),
in addition to the GBCC 2025 registration fee from April 17 (Thu.) to 19 (Sat.).
• Attendees are responsible for their transportation, accommodations and additional meals.
